Yandex Disk Deleted Years of My Files and Memories Without Prior Notice

I noticed that the data stored in my Yandex Disk account appears to have been deleted on August 14, 2025. My account contained many irreplaceable memories and important files collected over years that hold immense sentimental value to me, and I am currently unable to access any of them. I was not using a paid storage subscription, but having my data vanish in this manner has caused me severe hardship.

I sent an email to Yandex support regarding this issue and discovered online that many other users are experiencing similar problems. Despite my efforts, I have not yet regained access to my data, and as far as I can tell within my account, my files appear to be completely deleted.

My primary demand from Yandex is that access to the data and memories in my account be restored immediately. If gaining access requires a paid subscription, I am willing to pay a reasonable fee to recover my files. Furthermore, if future data cleanup operations or system updates lead to similar data deletions, I demand that an official alert message be sent to my registered phone number before any deletion takes place. I request that my grievance be resolved and that my access to my files be restored.
