I have accumulated years of emails on Yahoo, how can I find the old ones?

Check for any notifications regarding updates or expired passwords related to your profile when you log back into your Yahoo Mail account. These notifications might be a sign of account modifications that caused the deletion of earlier emails.

After you log in, check your mailbox for any updates and recent activity. You might see unread emails under ""Unseen"" rather than in your inbox. Look through the Unseen, Sent Items, and Trash folders to see if there are any missing emails or attachments. Make sure the attachments are not being automatically deleted by your antivirus software, and make sure you haven't accidentally clicked on "Delete All Attachments" rather than "Move To Archive Folder."

Regretfully, emails that have been removed from your account cannot be retrieved. That being said, you can change settings to improve the visibility of your inbox. Select Account settings from Yahoo Mail's Settings & Privacy menu, then check the "Show hidden messages" box. Turn the "Hide/Show older conversations" switch to see older emails without having to browse through your whole inbox. In addition, use the "Recover Deleted Messages" option to search your account for any lost data.

Try using Yahoo's Smart Folders feature to organize similar email types together, apply filters for custom rules, and sort emails by date to effectively manage your inbox. These instructions ought to assist you in efficiently navigating and setting up your Yahoo Mail.
