X Account Locked Due to Old Phone Number Recovery Failure

I have an X account that I have not used for more than five years and I can no longer access it because the phone number linked to the account is an old number I do not have anymore. When I try to log in from the Android app, the system sends a login PIN to this old phone number, so I am completely locked out. I tried to recover access using my email and attempted to change the password via email, but this process did not work and I still cannot log in. I am stuck at the step where the system insists on sending a code to the outdated phone number. I kindly request your help to update the phone number on my X account or to allow me to verify my identity via email so that I can regain access. I would like this issue to be resolved by changing the registered phone number to my current one.
