Stuck without a Twitter Verification Code

Twitter is giving me a lot of trouble. After I type in my password, Twitter asks for a verification code that I don't have. I've been trying to make a backup code or a new code by following the instructions. Even if I had made a code before, I can't remember it now. I've read the Help section and done everything it says to do, but I haven't found a solution. It keeps sending me to a page where I have to make a new password, but the code request keeps coming back. I can't get a verification code, and having to change my password all the time puts my account at risk of being closed. Can you send me the code to my phone or email? My email address is e**********@gmail.com.
