Wizz Air Forced Me To Pay €60 For Cabin Bag and Denied Refund Despite Delay
On the fifteenth, I flew with Wizz Air to Barcelona having already bought a cabin luggage allowance. My bag fit the standards, and I checked online without any problems. At the gate, though, a service member asked I pay €60 since her bag couldn't be taken in the cabin even though its dimensions were within permissible limits. Either I had to pay or miss my flight. Worse, the flight was delayed by more than two hours; when I asked for a refund or to check in the bag because of the delay, both requests were turned down. This encounter left me somewhat disappointed with Wizz Air since it seemed illogical and unprofessional.
