Trip.com Won't Refund My Wizz Air Tickets After Injury
Through Trip.com, we purchased Wizz Air tickets for travel to the United Kingdom scheduled between March 14 and March 21, 2026. Our Trip.com reservation number is 1638316490241486, the PIN is 8077, and the PNR codes are DKFLNZ, UJDCGS, and YP1LFQ. We paid a total of ₺11,919.50 for these tickets.
Unfortunately, before our departure date, I suffered a broken leg, making it impossible for us to travel. In early March, I submitted all of the medical records and hospital documentation requested by Trip.com. Despite providing every required document on time, no refund has been issued, and as of April 22, the matter remained unresolved.
I contacted Trip.com's customer service multiple times and was repeatedly told that they were still waiting for a response from the airline. However, when I contacted Wizz Air directly, I was informed that because the tickets had been purchased through a third-party travel agency, Trip.com was responsible for handling any refund requests and managing the process. Despite this, Trip.com has failed to provide any meaningful solution or resolve my case.
Although I submitted all of the required documentation promptly and my inability to travel was caused by a genuine medical emergency, I have still not received a refund. I respectfully request that the ₺11,919.50 I paid for these tickets be refunded as soon as possible in accordance with the applicable policies and that this matter be resolved without any further delay.
