Trip.com Refused to Refund My Wizz Air Ticket

On May 9, 2026, at 8:34 p.m., I purchased a one-way Wizz Air ticket through Trip.com. About one hour later, I decided to cancel the booking because I was unable to find a suitable return flight. However, when I attempted to cancel the reservation, I discovered that the system did not offer any refund.

When I purchased the ticket, I did not see any clear or prominent notice explaining that the booking was non-refundable or that I would not have a free cancellation period. As a consumer, I believe it is unfair that a ticket purchased only a short time earlier could not be canceled with any refund option. I also tried to contact Trip.com's customer service but was unable to reach a representative or receive any meaningful assistance.

Since only a very short amount of time had passed after the purchase, I respectfully request that my reservation, booking number 1638321277787176, be canceled without any deductions and that the full amount I paid be refunded to the original payment method.
