Wise Delayed My €880 Refund Without Explanation
On June 12, 2026, I requested a refund through Wise for approximately €880, and I have now been waiting 11 days for the money to be returned to my account. Throughout this process, I have repeatedly received emails stating that the refund would be completed within 10 days, but I have not seen any actual progress.
During my conversations with Wise regarding reference #2187946963, I was first told that the refund request had been rejected. Later, I was asked to provide my bank account details. After I submitted my IBAN information, I was informed that the refund process had been initiated and that the funds would be returned within 10 days. Despite my requests, I have not received any payment confirmation, refund receipt, or official documentation. I also never received a written explanation confirming why the refund had initially been rejected.
The excessive delay and the lack of transparent communication have caused significant frustration and inconvenience. I request that the €880 refund be transferred to my account without any further delay. I also ask Wise to provide an official refund receipt along with a detailed written explanation of the refund process and its current status.
