WhatsApp Permanently Banned My Account After It Was Hacked

I have been using WhatsApp on my Android phone with the number +961812273** in Lebanon since 2018 without any problems until the night of 31 August 2026, when my account was suddenly hacked and then permanently banned. When I try to open WhatsApp, I only see the message “This number can't use WhatsApp / This account can't use WhatsApp” and I have not been given any explanation or specific reason for this decision. I immediately contacted WhatsApp Support about this situation, but I have not received any reply yet. I believe this ban was applied in error after my account was compromised, because I have never intentionally violated WhatsApp’s Terms of Service and I rely on this number for my daily communication. I kindly request that my WhatsApp account linked to the number +961812273** be urgently reviewed, that the unjust permanent ban be lifted and my number reactivated, or at the very least that I be provided with a clear and concrete explanation of the exact reason for this decision.
