I recently received an unsolicited message on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro through WhatsApp from a +92 country code number, which I later confirmed belongs to Pakistan. The number appeared as a business account. I have no personal, commercial, or professional ties with Pakistan, and this contact left me very uncomfortable. I immediately blocked the number to prevent further contact.
Although I have not made any payments or engaged in any financial transactions, I want to clearly state that if my account information, phone number, personal messages, photos, or other private data are misused—for example, if a company is fraudulently registered under my name, purchases are made, or debts are created—I will not accept any responsibility. In such a case, I hold WhatsApp fully accountable.
I am requesting WhatsApp to take stronger action against this type of unwanted international contact. Specifically, I want spam messages from suspicious foreign business accounts to be blocked at the system level, and I demand that the security of my account be guaranteed. Users like me should not have to repeatedly block and report these numbers individually. I expect an urgent review and effective measures to prevent further harassment.
