Received Suspicious WhatsApp Call From +92
Today, I received a WhatsApp call on my iPhone 13 from a number starting with the country code +92. After checking online, I found that this country code belongs to Pakistan — a country with which I have absolutely no personal or business connection. Receiving a call from an unknown international number made me extremely uncomfortable and raised serious security concerns.
I blocked the number +92 310 9704*** immediately. However, I am still very worried that my phone number may have been used without my consent, that my account information may have been compromised, or that my private data — including messages and photos — may have been accessed by unauthorized individuals.
As a result of this incident, I want to clearly state that if my phone number or WhatsApp account is used to open a company, make purchases, incur debt, or perform any similar actions, I accept no responsibility whatsoever, and I hold WhatsApp fully responsible for any such unauthorized use.
I request that WhatsApp perform all necessary security checks related to my phone number and account, inform me immediately if there has been any breach, and provide a clear explanation regarding the protection of my personal data.
