Wego Canceled Confirmed SunExpress Tickets Without Notice

I purchased two SunExpress tickets through Wego for a Batman–Antalya flight scheduled for July 1, 2026, and paid a total of $175. The payment was successfully processed, and I subsequently received emails stating “Ticket confirmed” and “Your e-ticket is ready.” Relying on these confirmations, we made all of our travel plans accordingly.

On the day of the flight, we arrived at Batman Airport on time. During check-in, a SunExpress representative searched for our reservation using the PNR number and told us that our booking had been canceled. I had not received any prior notification of this cancellation from Wego or through any other channel. I was not informed by email, SMS, or phone, so I only learned that the reservation had been canceled at the airport, just as we were preparing to board the flight. As a result, we were not allowed to board.

When we tried to purchase new tickets on the same day so that we could still make our trip, we found that we would have to pay approximately $289 for two people. I had originally purchased the tickets through Wego for $175. Because the reservation was canceled without our knowledge, we suffered a significant financial loss and our entire travel plan was disrupted.

I filed a formal complaint with Wego regarding this situation and also requested a written explanation from SunExpress. Despite this, I have not yet received a satisfactory explanation or any meaningful solution.

I request a clear and written explanation stating who canceled my tickets, why they were canceled, and why I was not notified in any way. I also demand that Wego fully compensate me for the financial loss and inconvenience caused by this cancellation. I expect this matter to be resolved as soon as possible. Otherwise, I will have no choice but to exercise my legal rights and file complaints with the relevant consumer protection authorities.
