Vodafone's Forced Contract Renewal and Unfair Charges

I have been constantly bombarded with calls from Vodafone, urging me to renew my contract. On the 26th of the fifth month, I visited the Vodafone store in Arnavutköy to switch to a prepaid plan. The lady there asked for my phone number, and after I provided it, she said she needed the code sent to my phone to verify my details. I gave her the code, and she assured me that the switch to prepaid would take 2 to 3 days. As a nurse, I had back-to-back shifts, so I couldn't follow up immediately. Later, I received a message stating that my contract had been renewed, and I was shocked. On the 7th of the month, I went back to the Vodafone store and explained the situation. The so-called manager, Mr. Ö**, claimed they had nothing to do with it and suggested I call customer service. The customer service representative, on the other hand, stated that the renewal was done by the store. They deceived me by using the code I provided to renew my contract without my consent, and now they are forcing me to pay a cancellation fee of 671 TL if I want to terminate the contract. This is an act of bad faith, unfair, and unjust. Mr. Ö** even had the audacity to suggest that I should stay on the current plan since it's cheaper, completely ignoring the fact that they are responsible for the unauthorized renewal. I am filing a complaint and will also report this to CİMER (Turkish Presidency's Communication Center).
