Vivo Y31 Phones Have Speaker Call Microphone Problem
On January 20, 2026, I visited your MediaMarkt Mall of store to purchase two mobile phones. Although I initially had a different model in mind before the purchase, your sales representative strongly recommended the Vivo Y31 model. They repeatedly stated that it had a superior processor and features compared to other brands and that it would be a more logical choice. Based on this explanation and after a lengthy sales discussion, I trusted the information provided and purchased two Vivo Y31 devices.
However, from the very first day of using the devices, I encountered the same serious issue on both phones. During phone calls made using speaker mode, my voice does not reach the other person at all. When the speaker is turned off, the sound transmission works normally. Although the problem sometimes appears to be temporarily resolved, it repeats at certain intervals. In some cases, my voice reaches the other person in a robotic, muffled, or completely unintelligible form. This clearly shows that the phone cannot reliably perform its most basic function—making a clear phone call.
During my research online, I found that many other users of the Vivo Y31 model are experiencing the same problem, which suggests that this may be a chronic manufacturing defect.
Within the first week after the purchase, I contacted your customer service to report the issue and was informed that I should bring the devices back to the store. As of today, I have delivered both devices to your store.
Under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, since these products clearly appear to be defective, my primary request is to replace them with a different brand or model. If that is not possible, I request a full refund of the product price.
I kindly ask that my request be reviewed as soon as possible and that I receive a clear written response explaining the outcome.
