Even if two individuals perform the task multiple times each day, the total number of opening and closing operations would not exceed 240. Why did I end up paying significantly more for a seat from the Vitra brand, only to have it retire after just 240 operations? Shouldn't the R&D department have informed us, the paying customers, about the product's limited lifespan of 240 operations during testing?
