VFS Global Delayed My UK Visa Passport Despite Using Priority Service

I applied for a UK visa through VFS Global with the priority service on December 20, 2024. When I called UKVI, they informed me that my visa decision had been made and that I could collect my passport on December 30 or 31, 2024, or January 2, 2025. Today is January 2, 2025, and I still have not received any email about my passport. I have had to change and purchase plane tickets multiple times. I was supposed to be in London today, but I am still without my passport. December 25, 26, 28, and 29 were holidays, and it has now been seven working days since I used the priority service. While it would be reasonable to request compensation for my flight tickets, I am only asking for a refund of the priority service fee to my bank account.
