I Used My Old Passport Number for VFS Global Appointment—Can’t Edit or Cancel It

While booking a France visa appointment through VFS Global, I mistakenly entered my old passport number instead of the current one. When I realized the error and tried to correct it through their system, I encountered a technical error that wouldn’t let me update my details.
The worst part is, after struggling for weeks just to get an appointment, I now can’t even cancel it without losing my chance entirely. I contacted the consulate hoping for help, but they gave no support whatsoever—they just redirected me back to the already faulty system.
This situation is extremely frustrating. I’m asking: If I bring both my old and new passports to the appointment, will I face any issues? There must be a more efficient and flexible way to resolve simple administrative mistakes like this.
