Verizon Network Outage Stopped Uber Lyft Work Caused Income Loss
I am using a Verizon postpaid mobile line in Atlanta and on 14.01.2026 I was unable to use the internet all day due to a network outage. Because of this outage, I could not work for about 6 hours with Uber and Lyft, and my working day was completely disrupted. My mobile line is my main tool to receive rides and communicate with customers, so this interruption directly prevented me from doing my job and earning my daily income. On a normal day, I earn around $4,000 in 8 hours, and I had planned a similar working schedule for that day. Due to Verizon’s service outage, I was unable to earn this money and this situation caused serious financial congestion for me. In addition, my current Verizon bill is $130 and I think it is unfair to pay this bill in full when I could not benefit from the service on such a critical working day. I request that my entire bill be covered and that I also be compensated for the income I lost that day, as the outage in Verizon’s network directly prevented me from working and reduced my earnings. I kindly ask Verizon to review this situation, acknowledge the loss they have caused, and provide the necessary financial compensation. And I'm sending my lift page, I couldn't win.
