Today I noticed a $12.25 charge on my Venmo account from a company called Loca Tool for a subscription that I never signed up for and a service I have never used. I do not know this company, I have no relationship with them, and I did not authorize this payment in any way. After seeing the charge, I contacted Venmo and was informed that they could not stop the payment and advised me to lock my card to prevent any further charges. This situation has caused me inconvenience and concern because an unknown company has taken money from my account without my permission. I request that the $12.25 be immediately refunded to me and that any subscription or recurring payment associated with Loca Tool and my Venmo account be fully canceled. I also want written confirmation that any subscription they may have set up in my name has been completely terminated and that no further charges will be made to my account by this company.
