Now, for an item worth €30, I’m being told I need to buy a plane ticket for someone else to enter and exit the country, and then pay ₺800 for a name change. If they had simply handed the package over to customs, none of this would be an issue, but they’re holding it themselves. The shipping cost to Turkey was €44, yet they are now asking for €165 just to clear it and another €165 to send it back—totaling €350 for the return of a €44 shipment. I am very upset by this and plan to share the situation on my social media accounts. I believe a boycott of UPS should be initiated.
