Ugg Sandals Show Severe Wear After Two Days as SuperStep Blames User Error
On my Ugg sandals purchased from the SuperStep store in Forum Bornova, noticeable wear and deformation developed on the soles and sides under completely normal use just two days after purchase. Given that this is a premium brand sold at a high price point, a product deteriorating like this in such a short period—just two days—is completely unacceptable to me. Although the product is sold with a two-year warranty, I believe deformation occurring so quickly should be covered under warranty.
I submitted the product for inspection and was told I could collect it from the store after five business days, only to receive a rejection citing "user error." When I handed the shoes over for inspection, I wasn't even provided with a receipt or physical form; the outcome was simply communicated via a link and text message. I do not find it justifiable to classify such severe deformation occurring in a short time as user error, and I firmly reject this decision.
I demand that the Ugg brand, which I trusted for its quality, and the SuperStep store where I purchased the item resolve my grievance by granting either an exchange or a full refund. Otherwise, I would like to explicitly state that I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee to protect my legal rights.
