Last night, my Ubisoft account was hacked without my knowledge. When I woke up, I realized that both my email address and phone number had been changed, locking me out of my own account completely. I have a Steam-linked game on the account, and now I can’t access it at all. I immediately contacted Ubisoft Support, but so far, I haven’t received any response—no confirmation, no update, nothing.
This is the first time something like this has happened to me, and I honestly don’t understand what hackers want from accounts with barely anything of value. But regardless, this is my personal information and purchase history we’re talking about. Ubisoft should have better protections in place and faster response times for account theft.
