Turkcell Does Not Recognize Official Documents

My father passed away, and I went to the dealer to transfer his Turkcell line. I have both a death certificate and an inheritance certificate issued by the courthouse, yet I was told that the inheritance certificate is not valid and must be obtained from a notary instead. They refused to proceed with the transaction using the official document from the courthouse. How can such a ridiculous practice exist? How can you reject an inheritance certificate issued by the state? The notary is asking for ₺2,185 for the same certificate, even though I’ve used the one from the courthouse for all other official transactions. Who are you to not accept a document recognized by the government? I demand that the necessary steps be taken to complete this transaction. I have already reported the issue to the Presidential Communication Center, and if it remains unresolved, I will take legal action. I’ve been a Turkcell user for years, and this line has been active with our family since 1995.
