Tumile says it offers "safe chat," but if you're getting spam or strangers you don't want to talk to, you can protect your privacy and stop or report users.

According to Tumile's support documents, you can block or unblock a user at any time from the chat settings. If you block someone, their messages will be sent to a "blacklist," and you will no longer receive them.

If someone acts badly or contacts you in a rude way, you can also report them using the "report" or "shield" button in the app. Pick the reason that applies (spam, abuse, fake profile, etc.) and click "submit." In line with Tumile's community rules, this marks the person for review.

To be safer, don't share personal or identifying information like your real name, address, or location. Also, don't give out passwords or other personal information, and don't trust people you don't know who contact you outside of the app.
