I have suffered serious harm while using the Trust Wallet cryptocurrency wallet application. On November 27, when I attempted to withdraw my funds, I was told that I first had to pay a tax. I was informed that this tax could not be deducted from my existing balance and that it had to be paid separately in cryptocurrency. I explained that I already had sufficient crypto in my wallet and that the tax could be deducted directly from there, but I was told this was not possible and that I had to deposit additional crypto.
When I objected to this request, my account was closed, and I have been completely unable to access my account for approximately 20 days. Prior to this, I was receiving warnings such as “Your account has been accessed from another device.” Now, all biometric access has been disabled, and I cannot log in at all. There is approximately $51,000 worth of cryptocurrency in my wallet, and I have no access to it.
I have communicated with Trust Wallet support and saved screenshots of all messages related to this process. Despite this, my account has not been reopened, my funds have not been returned, and no concrete solution has been provided. I demand that all of my funds be returned to me in full and that access to my account be restored immediately.
