Trendyol Ignored Consumer Arbitration on My Kumtel Vacuum Replacement Request
I took my Kumtel rechargeable vacuum cleaner, with a warranty certificate, to the service center for repair in March 2024 because it wasn’t charging. After one month, the service issued a report recommending a return or replacement. I sent the vacuum cleaner to Trendyol along with the service report. They informed me that they would provide a refund, but I had requested a product replacement under warranty, not a refund. As a result, I filed a lawsuit with the Consumer Arbitration Committee. After my application was approved in July, I contacted the company again, only to receive a negative response. Trendyol, which we thought was a reputable company, is even disregarding the decision of the Consumer Arbitration Committee. Not only have I been unable to use the product I paid for, but I am still struggling to get a replacement despite the committee's ruling. Now, the issue will be resolved through enforcement. From this point on, I will no longer use Trendyol or Kumtel brands.
