Travel Town Players Want More Representation of Turkish Holidays
I had been happily playing Travel Town for about a year, but something I noticed this year has genuinely upset me. The game and its social media posts celebrate holidays from other cultures, such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Halloween, with special events and promotions that receive a lot of attention.
However, I have noticed that the same consideration is not given to our religious and national holidays. The fact that important occasions such as Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, April 23, and Republic Day are not represented in the game at all has made me feel excluded and unvalued. After all, Turkish players actively play this game as well.
I expect the company to take Turkish players into consideration by organizing special celebrations and events in the game or on its social media channels for Ramadan and our religious holidays, as well as national holidays such as April 23 and Republic Day. If this lack of consideration continues, I am no longer sure that I want to keep playing the game.
I hope my feedback will be taken seriously and that steps will be taken to make Turkish players feel that they are valued and included as well.
