SuperStep Rejects Inspection Claim for Odor-Emitting Timberland Shoes
In December 2025, I purchased the product with code TB0A4167EDM1 from the SuperStep Ankara Yenimahalle Optimum store. After I started using the product, an intense and disturbing odor formed in the shoes following every single use. When this situation became constant, I dropped the product off at the store to be sent for inspection—not due to wear or deformation, but solely with a complaint regarding the odor.
I handed over the product to the store on April 22, and today I received a message regarding the inspection results stating "there is no wear and tear, etc." on the product. However, my complaint was never about wear and tear in the first place; it is about the odor problem that occurs after every wear, and no solution whatsoever was produced regarding this issue.
I request an investigation to identify what is causing the odor in the product and, if this issue is acknowledged, a re-evaluation of my request for an exchange or a full refund. As long as this odor problem persists, it is impossible for me to wear the product in a healthy and comfortable manner.
