Blue Timberland Boat Shoes Turn Green After Single Wear; Store Ignores Defect

On June 5, 2026, we purchased two pairs of Timberland Classic Boat shoes—one brown and one blue—from the İzmir Yalı Spor Bornova Forum store. The blue shoes were delivered to us as requested, but after wearing them just once, the color turned completely green.
Even though we specifically chose the blue color, experiencing such an obvious color shift after a single wear was a major disappointment in terms of quality and trust. If we had wanted green, we would have selected that color in the first place. We believe this situation stems from an issue with the manufacturing or the materials used.
Because of this color transformation on shoes we paid $233 for, we request that our hardship be resolved, that the shoes be inspected for a full refund, or that they be exchanged for a problem-free pair of the same model.
