Unfair Account Closure on Instagram over Turkey Earthquake Video
My account, sefa ko****, was closed on February 10 after I shared a six-second video of an earthquake. I was shocked and confused when I received the notification of account closure, especially when so many people post inappropriate content without their accounts being closed. I contacted Instagram support, but have yet to receive a response. I recognize the importance of adhering to community guidelines and avoiding offensive content, but I believe this decision was unjust and that my account was unfairly targeted. I've come to seek your assistance and advice. Is there anything I can do to reactivate my account and have the video removed? I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions you have. It's upsetting to be unfairly targeted for something as simple as sharing a video, and I'm hoping that by sharing my story here, I'll be able to get some assistance. Thanks for reading!
