TikTok Flagged My Clean Live as “Gambling” and Shadowbanned My Account
My TikTok live stream—completely clean and free of any illegal content—was suddenly taken down by the algorithm for allegedly promoting “Gambling.” This accusation is entirely baseless. The live had no sound, no text, no games, no betting, and no form of encouragement. The title was: “No chat. Just looking.” That’s it. It was a quiet, peaceful stream with zero interaction, no hate, and certainly no illegal activity.
I submitted an appeal immediately, but it was clearly rejected without any proper review. To make matters worse, TikTok responded with an irrelevant “Under 13 age restriction” template, which has nothing to do with my case. Since this takedown, my account—@shadowfucker3—has practically disappeared. I have over 22,000 followers, but my videos no longer reach the For You page, I receive no new followers, and engagement has completely died.
I suspect the username itself may be triggering filters, and I tried to request a name change, but TikTok’s 30-day change lock blocked me from doing so.
This level of unjustified filtering and silencing of creators is unacceptable. TikTok, you must properly investigate this case, remove the algorithmic shadowban on my account, and lift the wrongful restrictions. Your creators deserve transparency, not silent censorship.
