The North Face Refused to Replace My Faulty Mountain Light 3-1 Coat Despite Stock

My wife purchased a coat on 01.12.2023 from The North Face Türkiye’s website. The name on the site and our invoice were listed as 'Woman Mountain light compatible with connection' according to 3-1.' There was an issue with the wrist of the coat, so we returned it for a replacement, using MNG cargo code 924971015. On 17.10.2024, customer service called my wife to inform her that they would issue a refund. When she asked why they were refunding instead of sending a new coat, they claimed that the coat was out of stock. However, we found the same coat on their website https://www.thenorthface.com.tr/kadin-mountain-light-3-1-gore-baglantisi-uyumlu-triclimate-mont_133229 with only a slight difference in the stock code. The current price is higher than what we originally paid. We don’t want a refund—we want a new coat to replace the faulty one. How can a big and global brand like The North Face handle this situation so poorly?
