Tesla Model Y Paint Chipping Issue - Service Center Denies Warranty Coverage
I visited the Tuzla Tesla Service Center due to paint chipping on the right and left rear door sills of my Tesla Model Y. The paint is being damaged by stones hitting the rear door sills from the front wheel. I pointed out what I believe to be a design flaw and requested that the repairs be covered under warranty, or even a replacement if necessary.
However, the service representative claimed that the vehicle is designed for asphalt roads, not gravel paths, and therefore, warranty coverage for painting or replacement was not possible.
