I am writing to report that my Telegram account has been hijacked and to request help changing the phone number linked to the account. The account was originally registered with a Saudi Arabian phone number, and I still remember that number. The email address I used to register this Telegram account is still active and accessible to me.
Around mid-September last year, approximately on the 16th or 17th, my iPhone was stolen. Since that incident, my Telegram account has been under someone else’s control. I now use an Android phone, but I cannot safely access my old Telegram account because the person who stole my phone is using the same number not only on Telegram but also on WhatsApp.
I previously contacted Telegram support, but I was told they could not assist me. However, I am the rightful owner of this account. I still have access to the registered email address and remember the original phone number, so I am requesting support again.
My request is to change the phone number on this hijacked Telegram account from the old Saudi Arabia number to my current Indonesian phone number and restore full, secure access to me. I also request that any access held by the person who stole my phone be immediately revoked so they can no longer use my Telegram account or associated number in any way.
