Telegram Account Recovery Failed After Hacker Changed Email
I had a serious security problem with my Telegram account and I can no longer access it. My account is registered to the phone number +251937154***, and I always used to log in only with my phone number, because I do not have an email account linked to it. My Telegram account appears to have been hacked and my email was changed by someone else without my permission. After that, when I tried to log in again, I was not able to access my account. I also saw a message about a “fee” at a time when I did not have any fee or payment to make, which made me think that something was wrong with my account. I tried to recover my account using the SMS code option, but when I requested the code, Telegram showed an error saying “this identity isn't exist in this criteria” and did not let me log in. Because my email was changed by someone else, I cannot use email recovery either. I request that my Telegram account linked to the number be recovered and that I be given access again without using an email address, or that my previous email be removed so I can log in only with my phone number.
