Tefal Express Protect Iron Leaves Marks and Shines Clothes

My Tefal Express Protect steam iron, which I purchased based on assurances from the store staff that it wouldn’t cause shine or marks on clothing, is now leaving white streaks and shiny patches, especially on dark-colored clothes. For two years, it worked perfectly, but as soon as the warranty period ended, these issues started.

I contacted the service center and was told the soleplate needs to be replaced at a cost of approximately ₺2000. They even claimed this was the first time they’d received such a complaint. I chose Tefal over other brands because I believed in its quality and paid a premium price for it. This is unacceptable for a brand like Tefal. I demand a free repair or replacement of the soleplate.
