Tandem Refused to Approve My Account and Gave No Clear Explanation

Thank you for resolution

Though my experience has been somewhat depressing, I registered for Tandem intending to get better in language and connect with people. For weeks now, despite all the required data, my account has been waiting approval. I contacted their support service several times, but their responses were evasive and contemptuous, with no attempt to really assist me to grasp the delay. One person noted that although my application would not satisfy "community guidelines," they would not specify exactly what particular standards were lacking. My friend too tried to join Tandem and encountered identical problems; her account was suspended for unclear cause. This lack of openness seems unjust, and it's disheartening to find a platform supporting world connection handling possible users this way.
