Swiggy Canceled My Prepaid Cake Order Without My Consent and Refused to Fix It
My recent experience with Swiggy was really disappointing when I ordered a cake for a family celebration. The order was prepaid, and at first, everything looked good. After some time, I got a call informing me that there was a delay with my order. They offered me two choices: either wait for the delivery or cancel the order. I decided to hold off on the cake because it was a significant moment. Right after the call wrapped up, I got a message letting me know my order was cancelled without me even agreeing to it. I contacted Swiggy’s chat support, but unfortunately, the staff wasn’t able to fix the problem. I reached out to them about reinstating the order, but they said it just wasn’t possible. It's really annoying that Swiggy can just cancel an order whenever they want, yet they won't lift a finger to help customers when problems come up. This whole situation really made me doubt their trustworthiness.
