Suzuki Swift CVT Transmission and Brake Failure Creates Severe Safety Hazard

I purchased my brand-new 2023 Suzuki Swift 1.2 Mild Hybrid with a CVT automatic transmission in May 2024 from the Doğan Trend Basın Ekspres dealership in Istanbul. The vehicle currently has 27,104 kilometers on the odometer, has been serviced exclusively at authorized dealerships, and remains under full manufacturer warranty.

In July and again today, the vehicle suffered a critical mechanical failure. After starting the engine from a parked position, the car refused to move regardless of whether the gear selector was in D, N, or P. The brake pedal went completely hard, and the car began rolling backward freely. No dashboard warning lights or error codes appeared. Only after cycling the ignition three to five times was I barely able to pull the vehicle over to a safe spot. This unprovoked rollback failure poses a severe hazard to my personal safety and surrounding traffic.

Compounding this issue, I have previously dealt with ongoing multimedia system failures on eight separate occasions, leading to a replacement unit being installed by Navitech. Today's dangerous transmission/brake glitch occurred immediately after starting the car following these multimedia repairs.

Although I managed to secure a service appointment for tomorrow, a life-threatening safety defect demands far more urgent and diligent intervention. Suzuki’s lack of immediate response regarding a low-mileage, warranty-covered vehicle experiencing dangerous failures severely undermines my trust in the brand.

I demand that Suzuki and Doğan Trend conduct a thorough root-cause investigation into this transmission and braking failure and perform a permanent repair. Furthermore, I request that my malfunctioning multimedia system be replaced with a reliable unit from a different brand/model rather than another problematic Navitech device. Should these critical safety hazards persist, I expect Suzuki to evaluate higher-tier legal remedies, including complete vehicle replacement under consumer protection laws.
