Converse Chuck Taylor Sole Detached in One Year, SuperStep Refuses Warranty

November 22, 2024 6:47 PM9

I purchased a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers from SuperStep, and within just one year, the sole started detaching from the shoe. I sent it in for an inspection, fully expecting the company to stand behind its product. However, I was denied a refund or replacement, with the excuse that it was "user error."

This is unacceptable for a reputable store like SuperStep. A sneaker’s sole should not come apart this quickly, especially when used under normal conditions. I expect a fair resolution—either a replacement or repair. If this issue is not addressed, I will escalate my complaint further. Stand by your products!
