YouTube AI Label Misrepresents Suno Musicians’ Creative Work

I create music through the Suno app using my own creativity and effort, and I share some of these tracks on YouTube.com. However, YouTube.com automatically places an “AI” label under my videos. I do not consider myself someone who simply creates “AI music.” I am a musician who creates my work through Suno while contributing my own voice, style, interpretation, and musical arrangements. Despite this, the “AI” label appearing on my videos causes my listeners to misunderstand the nature of my work.

This situation has been continuing for approximately one month or longer, and I have noticed that the number of views on my videos has decreased. When people see the “AI” label, they may approach my videos with prejudice, and I am sometimes unfairly criticized or accused because of it. I feel that my effort and creative contribution are being devalued. My name, my voice, my interpretation, and my musical style are all present in these videos; I simply use Suno as the production environment.

I request that Suno communicate with YouTube.com regarding this issue and seek a more accurate labeling system for tracks created using Suno. Instead of a general “AI” label, I believe a clear designation such as “Made with Suno” would more accurately explain how the content was created. This would allow listeners to better understand the production process while ensuring that the creative work of Suno users is not unfairly overshadowed by a generic label.

From our perspective, it would be a much fairer and more respectful approach if YouTube.com distinguished content created with Suno by clearly displaying the Suno name rather than simply categorizing it under a general “AI” label.

I request that the necessary technical and institutional steps be taken to ensure that music created with Suno is labeled accurately on YouTube.com and that the misunderstandings and negative perceptions caused by the “AI” label are addressed.
