Sunglass Hut Refused to Honor Global Warranty for My Y** Sunglasses


I purchased Y** sunglasses with a global warranty from Galleries Lafayette in France. After the case stained the sunglasses, I contacted Sunglass Hut in Turkey for assistance. I emailed them the details, including photos and the receipt, and they accepted my request for an inspection. However, after leaving the product at the Kanyon Mall store, I was informed five days later that they couldn’t help.
It’s frustrating that they didn’t review the receipt earlier, as both the email representative and store staff failed to do their job. If they had informed me earlier, I could have sent the product to France while I still had the time. Now I am left trying to resolve this issue with the French store, which is extremely difficult as an individual.
I requested Sunglass Hut’s assistance in contacting the Galleries Lafayette store where I bought the sunglasses, but they refused to help. This shows a lack of responsibility and professionalism. I demand that Sunglass Hut address the inconvenience they’ve caused and resolve this issue on my behalf as part of their global warranty commitment.
