Subway Served Brown, Old Lettuce in Lucama, NC

On 09/05/26, my family and I stopped at the Subway in Lucama, NC during a road trip to Myrtle Beach. When my husband and I looked at the shredded lettuce, we noticed that it was brown and looked old, so we politely asked the employee if they had any fresh lettuce. The young lady then told us that this is how they receive it from the supplier and that they did not have anything fresher to offer. I explained that this was very disappointing, because it meant that all four of us had to skip lettuce on our subs, which is an important part of the sandwiches we ordered. I am sharing this experience because I expect fresh ingredients and proper quality control when we choose Subway for our family. I kindly request either a refund for our subs or coupons for some free subs, as well as assurance that this location will take more care with the freshness of its produce.
