About 8 hours ago, I completely lost access to my Steam account. After receiving multiple verification codes sent to my Gmail accounts one after another, I tried to log in and discovered that both my phone number and registered email address had been changed. I am now completely locked out of my account and unable to access it in any way.
My account had a high Steam level, as well as games that are important to me like PUBG and CS:GO, along with valuable in-game items. Losing access to all of this and having my account fall into someone else’s hands has caused me serious harm.
I contacted Steam Support shortly afterward, but I have not received any response so far. I want my account to be reviewed for security issues and returned to me as soon as possible, and I expect my losses to be addressed.
