Solgar L-Arginine 1000 mg Gave Me Severe Headaches and Kidney Pain
I recently started using Solgar L-Arginine 1000 mg, and it caused immediate and concerning side effects. After each dose, I experienced intense headaches and kidney pain—something I’ve never encountered with other supplements. To confirm my suspicion, I alternated use: taking it one day and skipping the next. Every day I took it, the same symptoms returned.
I contacted Solgar directly to report the issue. Unfortunately, they dismissed my concerns, insisting that their product would not cause such reactions and implied the problem wasn’t real. But how am I supposed to “prove” a side effect that I clearly feel?
What makes this more frustrating is that I’ve used multiple Solgar products before—including Male Multiple, CoQ10, and Spectrum Curcumin—without any issue. My spouse also uses Female Multiple regularly and has never experienced a single side effect. Clearly, L-Arginine 1000 mg is the only one triggering this reaction, and my body is not tolerating it.
