Some instant photos that my friend and I took during our conversations on Snapchat — which are important to me — have disappeared from the chat screen even though I did not take any action to delete them. We are not added as friends on Snapchat; however, the chat and the photos were still visible on my phone, and I was keeping those photos saved only within the conversation.
When I checked the chat today, I noticed that these photos were no longer visible. About a week ago, there was no such issue. A few days ago, I logged out of the app and logged back in, but I am not sure whether the problem is related to that. Regardless, the photos that were previously visible in the chat are now gone.
Since these photos have sentimental value to me, I would like them to be restored to my account or chat if technically possible. If that is not possible, I request a clear and understandable explanation as to why they disappeared.
