I'm a frequent shopper on Slickdeals and I've noticed that some deals seem to stay up for weeks, while others disappear quickly. How often do they get updated?

There are a few things that can change how often deals are updated on Slickdeals:

• When there are a lot of upvotes and interest in a deal, it's likely that it will sell out quickly. The deal may be gone within minutes or hours of being posted.

• Deals that don't get many votes or are specific to certain interests may stay live for longer, sometimes even weeks, until they expire naturally or are removed by hand.

• Deals usually have clear expiration dates that are written on the deal page. When the deal's expiration date comes and goes, the deal is automatically removed.

• Some deals might not have a set end date. If moderators think they are no longer useful or relevant, they could still take them down.

• Deals on products that aren't available anymore or whose prices have changed a lot may also be taken down by hand by moderators to keep the platform accurate and keep users from getting confused.
