I am absolutely furious with Skyscanner and XL Rent! I rented a car through Skyscanner, and just one day before my vacation, the reservation was canceled! To make matters worse, the "solution" offered by XL Rent was to cancel through Skyscanner and then rebook directly with them, but at exorbitant new prices!
This is completely unacceptable. I'm now in a terrible position, stranded without a rental car for my vacation, and being strong-armed into paying ridiculously inflated prices. Both Skyscanner and XL Rent are responsible for this mess. They are preying on my desperate situation.
Skyscanner and XL Rent, you need to rectify this immediately! Honor my original rental price or provide a comparable vehicle at no additional cost. This deceptive practice and last-minute cancellation have left me completely stranded and victimized.
