Skyscanner Shows “No Deposit Required” but Rental Terms Demand a Deposit
While browsing available cars in the Skyscanner app to rent a vehicle from Konya Airport, I came across a serious inconsistency. Some vehicles in the listing are specifically labeled “no deposit required.” However, when I click on one of these vehicles and review the rental terms in detail, I see a statement saying that “the rental desk agent will ask for a deposit when you pick up the car.”
I choose the vehicle based on the “no deposit required” label. If I did not carefully read the rental terms, I would end up having to pay a deposit at pickup for a car I selected specifically because it said no deposit was required. This is highly misleading and undermines user trust. I can still see the same contradiction in the app right now.
I want Skyscanner to correct the “no deposit required” information shown in the vehicle listings so that it is fully clear and consistent with the rental terms shown on the detail page. I request that all deposit-related information be displayed clearly, accurately, and without contradiction, and that this misleading information be corrected immediately.
