I Can’t Use My Phone Number on Shein After Deleting My Old Account
I previously had a Shein account linked to my phone number, but the email address on that account did not belong to me, and there was no way to change it. To fix the issue, I deleted the account entirely and created a new one using my correct email.
Now, when I try to add my phone number to the new account, I get an error message saying:
“This phone number is already associated with another account. Please use a different number.”
This is incredibly frustrating. I no longer have access to the old account, and it’s already deleted. Why can’t I reuse my own phone number? There’s no clear help article or solution on Shein’s website, and customer support has been no help either.
I’m simply trying to verify and secure my account properly, but the system is blocking me from doing so. Shein, you need to resolve this issue by unlinking my phone number from the deleted account and allowing me to use it again.
I expect a prompt fix. This is my personal number, and I should be able to use it freely on my new account.
